FASHIONS BY TAMARA ~FOR ANY OCCASION
This bridal gown was brought to me 3 weeks before wedding day. Bride loved the gown, and it was purchased at a great discount, but didn't fit properly. I added this 7" panel to the back with lacing. Every other Sworovski crystals stack on the left (3 crystals stacked for each), was moved to the right side, to balance out for detail. Lacing and panel were made from the fabric removed at the bottom of the gown, for a perfect match!

I was contacted to make keepsake pillows from some antique lace clothes for family members. Here are some work in process photos! Check out the final pictures on my Photos Page!

Editing a Neckline

Picture
The bride that will be wearing this lace dress, wanted a different neckline for her September wedding.

Picture
Dress was taken in at waist, hem taken up, and the necline in front and back was changed from a high neck to a more flattering squared neckine in front and back using satin fabric for trim.

Picture
Here is the finished neckline with satin trim! Squared off in the front and back. Completely changed the look of the dress!

I was asked to make a Christening gown from this wedding dress. She brought a picture of what she wanted it to look like and I created the style, using fabric and details from her gown.Note, the band at the top of the gown was used for the hem of the christening gown!

Dance Costumes

Chinese style dresses - I was given the pink fabric to add to the sleeves and the hemline. I needed to remove original trim then replace after fabric was added. All dresses were fitted to each girl as well.

Favorite summer dress
A relative from Arizona contacted me and asked me to make 3 dresses for her from a favorite style of a dress she owned. She mailed me the dress and 3 fabrics, with her measurements and was very pleased with the outcome!
